TMS Global specialise in the outsourcing of retail display, print and packaging and are active in 97 markets globally and we are made up of just over 300 people who are spread internationally across APAC, LATAM, EMEA and NA.
About the role
We have a brand-new opportunity for a Regional Operations Director to join our Americas region, who will be responsible for delivery excellence across TMS in North and South America to ensure we delight our customers.
Having an excellent understanding of our clients’ needs and that of our teams servicing our clients will a key factor of success for this role as you will ensure we are delivering best in class service to our clients whilst acting as a regional conduit with the central operations teams.
Some of the key responsibilities that you would cover are :
- Design and develop a best practice methodology in line with the business strategy, mission, values and client requirements.
- Ensure new regional or service line extensions are implemented to industry best practice.
- Own and deliver a continuous improvement strategy across the business.
- Work with the wider team to establish and understand savings targets for existing and potential clients in the categories in scope.
- Ensure a close working relationship with client teams to ensure our savings targets are met and managed for specific client operations.
- Manage all elements of pricing to support client services teams, including benchmarking, rate card management, pricing calculator development, data & pricing analytics, e-auction management.
- Ensure our global supply chain is fit for purpose to support the business strategy including all vendor management and contracting issues
- Work closely with the management team to ensure our sourcing and vendor strategy is meeting our design and innovation objectives.
- Ensure transparent and collaborative relationship exist between our vendor portfolio and our client teams globally
About you
As Regional Operations Director you will have P&L and team management responsibilities so previous experience of managing budgets and leading a team is critical.
If you are a operational and commercially astute manager in either the Print, POS, Packaging Outsourcing, Fulfilment, Procurement sectors then this role could be a great fit for you.
It would also be great if you are familiar with complex commercial models (ideally within Print / Packaging / POS industries) and are able to utilise data analytics and tools to drive key business decisions as well as having an understanding of the supply market for POSM.
