The Opportunity

The Data Operating Model Associate Manager will work as part of the local team, that will allow the construction of an integrated PepsiCo Mexico Foods Data and Analytics plan, identifying the most relevant data & advanced analytics use cases connected with PFM business priorities focused on Operating Model, helping to build solid plans to migrate data to the EDF (Enterprise data foundation as the single source of truth).

This role will also connect functions with data agenda and capabilities and will be accountable for PepsiCo’s Data and analytics Portfolio management, focused on Operating Model. It will also be really supportive of bringing these capabilities to life, ensuring data migration to EDF and buildup of AA, helping the organization to move forward in its digital agenda and reinforcing our culture of data driven decision making, enabling our future ambition.

This role must also support and enable the connection with LATAM & Global teams, translating local data & analytics needs into a set of requirements to be prioritized and executed by expert D+A regional teams. He/she will ensure that regional & global priorities within its vertical are totally aligned and support PMF’s business needs, avoiding duplications and leveraging Global knowledge and developments.


Responsibilities

Your Impact

As Data Strategy & Business Engagement Coordinator your scope would consist of:

Data Operating Model Associate Manager will be allocated within the related local team, as part of PMF Business transformation team and will be responsible for PMF Data & Analytics integrated agenda for Operating Model project, creating trustworthy relationships with the business. The role will also collaborate with Data Strategy & BE Sr. manager in building a holistic and coherent strategy for PepsiCo, bringing together a comprehensive and detailed plan for its execution.

Position key responsibilities include:

  1. Data Strategy
  • Coordinate business team to obtain data readiness pre-assessment for OM initiatives
  • Orchestrate evolution of data readiness when needed for his / her vertical
  • Interlock for Strategy & Transformation with functions & translation into Data & Analytics requirements
  • Buildup PepsiCo’s Data & Analytics plan for its vertical, including data migration to Enterprise Data Foundations and Advanced Analytics capabilities
  1. Coordinate Data & Analytics Portfolio for its vertical
  • Support bringing Data & Analytics capabilities to life, ensuring data migration to Enterprise Data Foundation & buildup of Advanced Analytics capabilities are on time and according to defined scope
  • Set up organization for value realization
  1. Successful Functional Partnerships / Business Engagement
  • Works effectively with diverse, multi-functional teams to come up with & implement the best solutions, moving people to act
  • Establishes trust-based partnerships with Functions associated with assigned vertical, to better serve the organization
  • Provide business advisory for Data & Analytics topics
  • Ensure connection with Latam & Global teams
  • Build and demonstrate empathy, building strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Prepares materials & communicates effectively in 1:1 & group meetings
  • Embody “One Team” attitude with Functions, adapting ways of working when required

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Experience

  • 3+ yr. experience in Management Consulting, Business Transformation with strong data orientation, data positions focused on strategic definition and business engagement or relevant role
  • 3+ yr. experience in multi-functional teams in a project setting with results delivery
  • Ideally, 1+ yr. experience in scrum & agile ways of working
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent (Required). Ideal majors include Data & Analytics, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Management, Computer Science, Information Technology
  • Fluent in English & Spanish
  • Given the wide scope of engagement, candidate must be highly adaptable , and feel comfortable participating in different programs across the functional vertical of its domain, with diverse team members and stakeholders across PepsiCo Mexico Foods, Latam and Global teams, with both business and technical backgrounds .
  • Show ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, partnerships across Functions & Areas, and ability to influence and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills , including structuring problems, researching, interviewing, analyzing data, and identifying insights using hypothesis approach
  • Strong analytical skills , focused on understanding business needs and being able to translate them into technical data requirements and implications.
  • Familiarity with common data & analytics concepts , technologies, and ways of working.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management & results delivery , ideally leveraging new ways of working (e.g., agile)
  • Quick learner , with strong aptitude to grasp new concepts & effectively produce results
  • Team player , that can effectively collaborate across functions and diverse teams
  • Demonstrated ability & passion to establish and maintain strong relationships and partnerships across multiple areas and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated presentation and communication skills to lead workshops and meetings
