The role

is expected to grow the local talent by partnering with Cognizant’s talent organizations on lateral hiring, campus recruiting, local partnerships, and continuous enablement of our teams.

The individual in this role will ensure that best practices for delivery excellence are followed and that team members contribute systematically to our innovation initiatives.

1. Key Responsibilities

The Program Director is responsible for driving the Digital Transformation / Modernization of the legacy platform and portals leveraging the Salesforce / SAP or any platform ecosystem.

He / she will identify partners and establish effective governance and operating model with the CXO(s) and senior program leadership.

  • Analyze and relentlessly focus on value delivery and encourage improved business outcomes to achieve program goals and metrics.
  • Interact with Client, Product Vendors, External Partners and Internal Cognizant partners to resolve critical issues and communicate potential 'significant change', as identified.
  • Overall Program End-to-End Accountability, with responsibility for overall Customer Satisfaction and Delivery
  • Own and drive periodic Governance at various levels (Steering Committee, Monthly reviews etc.) with client and Product Vendor (Salesforce)
  • Manage Program risks and work with Client, Product Vendors, External and Internal Cognizant partners as needed for risk mitigation / resolution.

2. Mandatory Capabilities / Skills / Years of Experience

  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in strategy, delivery, process consulting, stakeholder management, project / program delivery including minimum 2+ years in the Digital Transformation / Modernization Program.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in the partner eco system to transform / modernize the Salesforce or SAP or other products in the Sales, Service, Marketing areas.
  • Experience in leading the Digital Transformation of the partner, consumer and internal portal using the Salesforce Industries.
  • Experience in leading the Digital Transformation / Modernization for global delivery programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At Least 2-3 Salesforce Certification
  • Trusted team leader who delivers results delivering defined business value to Client
  • Mentoring and grooming of the next level.

3. Preferred Capabilities / Skills / Years of Experience

  • MBA or Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • Effective Communication and Partner Management emotional intelligence, empathy and strong social, communications, and engaging presentation skills
  • Proven leadership of teams and business priorities through building relationships, listening, consulting and influencing outcomes
  • Consultative, entrepreneurial, proactive, and productive; someone who instinctively knows what needs to be done and motivates colleagues towards accomplishments.
