Roles and Responsibilities
Drive consistent global operations strategy and process rigor to operate as ONEAeroderivative Engineering team.
Own and lead Aeroderivative Engineeringcontinuous improvement strategy, initiatives and support team capability enhancement.
Lead a strong partnership with the Systems & Design, ITR and Services team leaders to build rigorous standard work and drive necessary process harmonization.
Establish and improve operating rhythms, Bowler metrics and reporting to facilitate daily management to meet/exceed Safety, Quality, Deliver and Cost priorities
Share best practices across the global teams and act as a conduit to accelerate cross-functional results.
Partner with the Digital / Analytics teams to drive the development of data visualization/analytics.
Partner with cross functional business leaders, peers, and technical resources to integrate business tools while delivering cost effective solutions for business success.
Serve as the FPC (fixed production cost) focal for the team to coordinate and drive improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering from an accredited university or college OR a High School diploma with 12 years of Engineering, Operations, LEAN, or Project management experience.
Significant experience in Engineering, Operations, Lean or Project Management related field.
Desired Characteristics
Preference will be given to current Gas Power Engineering employees.
Aptitude with analytical tools (ex. Excel, Access and MS Access); specific skills include: data mining, pivot tables, data manipulation.
Knowledge of Aero Engineering processes and systems (GE Employees Only).
Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and process simplification skills, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Highly collaborative and intellectually agile critical thinker
Experience with driving outcomes in large, matrixed organizations.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $108,600.00 - 181,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for a 15% annual performance bonus. This position closes 4/5/24.
